Makaio Huizar is a 17-year-old singer and songwriter. He is one of Arizona’s promising young emerging artists. Born on March 10, 2007, and raised in California. His music journey started young, inspired by the emotional power of music as a coping mechanism. At 12 years old, he began writing songs based on personal experiences. It started as a small little side hobby and turned into one of his biggest dreams and passions. His songwriting is very personal yet relatable and is often praised for his honest and vulnerable approach to songwriting. In April of 2024 Makaio released a song that placed him as an “Artist To Watch” and a “Rising Star” in The Pop/ Bedroom Pop Musical scene.
His release of “what am I waiting for?” Was a heartbreak ballad about his first break up.
